Feelings of anxiety and fear are natural human responses to our environment and the challenges it holds - none of us desire to be ruled by these emotions however and often times, we don’t have any control over how or when they express themselves: but we absolutely can control our response to them.
After a lifetime of battling severe anxiety; I’m learning to recognise when the scale begins to tip and choose to adjust my perspective!
As I’ve grown in my journey - both in motherhood and military life, I’ve realised that thriving in this life is all about the perspective we choose to live it from. The success of my day so often boils down to the balancing act between adventure, or anxiety … faith, or fear.
As an Army wife and mama to four; my life holds some unanticipated challenges and plenty of anxiety-inducing moments that I never planned for myself...

When motherhood fears collide with faith; God's plan for my babies outweighs my brokenness
Motherhood is often overwhelming; it's easy to measure our fears and failures and worry that they will limit our children's future. God has a different message though: our babies formed by Him have a powerful purpose and future of His design and will overcome the struggles of this world if we teach them by example to lean on His strength alone.
